Elbert Tsai - Biography
Elbert has performed as a member of the San Francisco Symphony and San Francisco Ballet orchestras, having won international auditions for both ensembles. His summer activities have included performing at the festivals of Sun Valley, Tanglewood, Aspen, Pacific Music Festival and National Repertory Orchestra as co-concertmaster and soloist.
His formal studies include an Advanced Studies Certificate from the University of Southern California under the tutelage of Robert Lipsett, as well as two Bachelor's degrees from Oberlin in violin and computer science and a minor in piano performance.
In addition to teaching at Center Stage, Elbert has also been appointed to the faculty of the Luzerne Music Center in New York.
